I was up at 7:40 AM. After the English Breakfast, I walked back to the archives. The weather had turned cool and cloudy. I continued with the microfiche records and located George's wife, Harriet, and their two daughters, Lucy and Leonora. Harriet was in the same common grave, 3F6, and Lucy & Leonora were in 3-E2-6 common. Son Thomas wasn't here, but he lived south of the city later in life so was likely somewhere near Odd Down or Combe Down. Since there was no point in returning to Lansdown Cemetery, I instead walked up Walcot Street and past some of the Miller locations, then to the Circle and Crescent areas that were lined with Georgian buildings, then past the car rental place before returning and doing the Roman Baths & Museum tour (11.00). I got a handheld tour guide device that would play back recorded descriptions. At various spots I would type in a code number and the narration for that spot would play with a choice of voices and languages. After a quick dinner I returned to the bed & breakfast. Tomorrow I would get a rental car and head to Dorchester to get me closer to the family hometown of Sherborne, and the Dorset History Center, as well as the ancient hill fort of Maiden Castle.
